Komang (the owner here) is very very good at what he does. Not only super knowledgeable and professional, but fantastic with people too and at making you feel safe for your whole time with him.

My girlfriend and I had never done scuba before and she was pretty nervous about it. When she started to get nervous during the dive, he knew exactly what to say and how to put her at ease. You really get the sense that he’s seen it all, knows it all, and can solve any problem you have underwater.

Our dive ended up being so incredible, and she had a really good time. She said that she is not willing to dive with anyone besides Komang again hahaha.

Highly highly recommend you go here. Not the number 1 cheapest, but you get what you pay for. The gear, experience, and professionalism here are top notch, and the Discover dive for beginners was awesome. Just do it!

I could not recommend Komang enough at West Bali Diving. He’s incredibly experienced, knowledgeable, and kind. It was my first time diving and I’m so glad it was here - he knew exactly how to make us feel safe and relaxed while having a great time. He also is very careful to follow regulations and teach us to do the same so no one disturbs coral or other marine life.

West Bali Dive arranged a private snorkel trip in a traditional wooden  boat for my small group. Although its not their usual fast boat group tour Komang was happy to pull together a bespoke tour for us. We had an excellent snorkel guide (another Komang!) and enjoyed a fantastic trip to Menjangan Island. The 2 teens had not snorkelled before and were thrilled to see a turtle and black tipped reef shark. Komang took good care of us, bringing a life ring in case we needed a break, and he also took photos and videos. Fab day with 2 dives and early lunch with the deer 🍜 🦌

Wir haben den PADI-Kurs mit Komang gemacht. Von Anfang bis Ende war es perfekt organisiert, super informativ und mega freundlich. Wir haben tolle 3 Tage verbracht, viel gelernt und noch mehr selbst gesehen. We had a wonderfull experience with Komang. We met through his cute dog Sam and decided to spent our last morning here on the boat with him and his team. Everyone working there is just an absolute pleasure to hang out with. From the guide, to the captain and the people on the shore. Their enthusiasm and love for the ocean is what made this trip truly unforgettable and hopefully will add to this wonderfull area staying perserved and accessible for both nature and people looking to enjoy it. What a truly special place to visit underwater and a must to do it with people who will organize this visit in a responsable way. We will definetly be back, next time to do a Padi course. We had such a good snorkelling experience with West Bali Diving that we decided to go in for a second day. The guides are very knowledgeable and all the staff are friendly and accommodating. Even though we aren't confident swimmers, we felt safe with them. We saw lots of turtles and other marine life. Would definitely recommend using these guys if you are wanting to snorkel or dive around Menjangan island. The coral and sea life in the area is amazing.

We were a group of 4 - 2 diving and 2 snorkelling and were happy to hear we could all go out together to the same dive sites on one boat. Our experience was the same as all of the other 5 star reviews. Komang and Eka were both incredible guides who provided clear and thorough explanations of dive sites, their approaches as guides, and safety information. They were generous with local information, funny and friendly too. We did use another dive centre in Bali who were also great, but we reflected that West Bali Diving and Snorkelling did a far better job of the safety briefings. Amin (captain) was also very safe and supportive and helped us get in and out of the boat. It was also great to hear about coral conservation Komang was involved with.
